NBCC鈥檚 Applied Research and Innovation celebrates 10th anniversary

New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) celebrated a decade of enriched learning, community problem-solving, and industry support at a reception to mark the 10th anniversary of its Applied Research and Innovation (ARI) department on Thursday, May 19.

Community and industry partners joined 不良研究所staff and alumni to acknowledge the past successes and future growth of ARI, which utilizes 不良研究所expertise, tools, and facilities to help solve technical and business problems, take advantage of market opportunities, and develop new technology and processes.

“Over the last 10 years, 2,600 不良研究所students and staff have been engaged in applied research projects that have advanced solutions for hundreds of businesses and community organizations,” said Mary Butler, President and CEO of NBCC. “From cybersecurity to healthy aging in place for seniors, applied research at 不良研究所has contributed significantly to the economic and social wellbeing of New Brunswick.”

Last year alone, 不良研究所collaborated on 95 applied research projects with 115 partners, with 57 staff and 364 students taking part.
