In our two-year Educational Support program, you'll learn to work with students with diverse learning needs. Through a combination of experiential and applied learning, you'll gain the skills needed to plan, organize, and lead activities to help children develop intellectually, physically, and emotionally. We'll teach you how to manage behaviour and plan and modify educational programming to suit students with exceptional needs. Giving a child a great start in life is one of the greatest gifts you can give. Admission Requirements

  • Please Note: Regardless of courses completed, students must meet program admissions requirements , including High School Diploma or Adult High School Diploma or GED Diploma of High School Equivalency or Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) or Essential Skills Achievement Pathway: Post-Secondary Entry High School Diploma.
  • Individuals for whom English is not a first language may need to meet 不良研究所language requirements.

Specific Considerations

Prior to or during an applied workplace experience the host agencies may require students to provide a current criminal record check, social development record check and a vulnerable sector check from a recognized police service in order to be considered for an applied workplace experience.

Specific Immunizations

Depending on the agency, students may be required to provide an Immunization Record.


Career Possibilities

Graduates enter the working world prepared for a variety of educational settings including public and private kindergarten, elementary and secondary schools, before and after school care, and recreation and community centres. The career is also flexible, providing full and part-time opportunities to suit your lifestyle.
